The Polsky Center sponsors conferences for students that expose them to several important aspects of the entrepreneurial world.

Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Conference

The Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Conference (EVC), is a day-long, student-run conference designed to bring together successful entrepreneurs and seasoned venture capitalists in a panel format to share ideas and advice, foster creativity, and encourage the entrepreneurial-minded Chicago GSB student. Held in the the fall quarter by the Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital & Private Equity student group. Read about the 2007, 2006, and 2005 event coverage.

Private Equity Conference

The Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company Private Equity Conference (PEC) is a day-long student-run conference dedicated to educate and inspire Chicago GSB students about the worlds of private equity and venture capital. Some students attend to learn more about the industry, and others attend because they have worked in private equity and are seeking more in-depth knowledge from speakers and panelists about particular topics.  Held in the spring quarter by the Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital & Private Equity student group.
