Latest Issue

The Spring/Summer 2008 New Venture News (PDF) highlights the winners of the 2008 New Venture Challenge (NVC) and other students successes at intercollegiate business plan competitions. The issue also features stories on the upcoming Entrepreneurial Immersion trip to India, the launch of start-up Tula Foods by alumna Daphne Mazarakis, '99, the new social entrepreneurship lab course, and includes an interview with Susan Hapak, '89 who talks about the summer Alumni Entrepreneurship Seminar. Recaps from the Sales Conference, the GSB/UIUC Private Equity Conference, and the Hyde Park community workshops are also included, as well as alumni updates.
