Admissions

The Evening MBA Program admits new students four times a year, for the autumn, winter, spring and summer quarters. The Weekend MBA Program admits new students in the autumn quarter only. Application review is on a rolling basis for both of these programs.

Chicago Business Fellows, a subset of the Evening MBA Program, are admitted in the autumn quarter only. Applications are not reviewed on a rolling basis.

Here's an overview of the application process:

• Application - It's highly recommended that you use our online application system and provide supporting materials according to the following deadlines. If you wish to submit a paper application, access the online system and download a copy of the application. However, we strongly suggest you register with the online system to receive emails about events and the application process.
  

• Interviews- Interviews are required of all applicants to the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs. Admissions interviews are conducted by the Admissions Committee, comprised of GSB staff, students, and alumni, and are held at Gleacher Center, our downtown campus. All interviews, regardless of who conducts them, receive equal weight in the evaluation process.
  
  Starting for the Winter 2009 Quarter, your interview must be completed before the deadline for which you plan to submit your application. Our office will contact you to schedule an interview once your application has been received. **Please submit your application at least two weeks before the deadline to ensure the timely scheduling of your interview.**
  
• Decisions - All decisions are released through the online application system under the "Application Status" section.

Submission Deadlines

Your application must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. (CST/Chicago time) on the day of the deadline in order to be considered for an application round. This includes receipt of all online and mailed-in materials, as well as conducting your admission interview. Applications submitted after a deadline will not be considered for that quarter.
